Job Summary:

Using technology-enhanced instruction, the adjunct faculty supports the colleges mission by delivering agriculture-related courses and curricula.

Essential Functions:

Teach assigned agriculture classes such as agribusiness, fruit and vegetable production, sustainability, viticulture, and soil science.

Provide academic advising in collaboration with Student Services staff.

Maintain academic excellence and grading standards.

Prepare and distribute course syllabi/outlines.

Monitor and support student progress.

Maintain accurate academic records.

Submit final grades online.

Other duties as assigned.

Operating under the Department Chairs guidance, adjunct faculty must meet all educational, administrative, and fiscal expectations.

Job Specifications:

• Associates degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.

Grade:
Salary Range: $61 per contact hour

Adjunct faculty are not employed directly by Lake Michigan College, with a few exceptions based on MSPERS retirement program. All others are employed through Edustaff, LLC.
