Day Shift CNC Machinist

Overview

Day Shift CNC Machinist for Gaishin Manufacturing Benton Harbor Facility. Our Day Shift works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. We are looking for candidates that are looking for a long-term career at a company that values and supports their employees.

• Accurately and efficiently use multi-axis CNC machines to produce quality parts.
• Troubleshoot, set up, or resolve process issues quickly.
• Maintain equipment and keep all production areas clean and organized.

• Self-motivated with strong leadership, analytical, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication & interpersonal skills.
• Dependable with excellent work ethic; ability to stand/walk during the entire shift.
• Willingness to learn and be coached.
• Previous Gantry Style, Swiss Style, and/or Mill/Turn Style lathe operation preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC operation; experience operating Murata or STAR machinery is a plus.
• Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Understanding of production procedures and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals with GD&T.
