Summary: The Maintenance Technician's primary responsibility is to ensure that equipment is safely operating and meets its intended use, optimizing equipment uptime. The employee is responsible for making scheduled and unscheduled repairs on all machines and related manufacturing equipment, reporting administratively to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and tools, and document PM activities through the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Inspect equipment daily for safe and proper operating conditions.
• Assist with major repairs and troubleshooting of machines, equipment, or components.
• Request approval for machine parts, equipment, or component replacements from the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Change oil on equipment as recommended by manufacturers.
• Follow all safety precautions per MPI's / OSHA requirements during repairs.
• Complete additional tasks or assignments as directed by management.
• Maintain compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards.

Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and company policies. Perform other duties as required, maintaining flexibility and continuous coordination of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 3-5 years maintenance experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing. Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and programmable controller issues. Experience with various machining equipment.

Physical Demands: Regularly sit, stand, talk, hear, walk; frequently climb, bend, squat, reach, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. Vision abilities include focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations available.
