Entry level accounting Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Additional coursework or education in accounting, bookkeeping, business, or finance is beneficial.

High school diploma Experience Requirements Ability to accurately process financial records, invoices, payments, or accounting documents. Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience using computers, spreadsheets, accounting software, or office applications. Ability to organize records, maintain confidentiality, and meet established deadlines. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Accounting experience, bookkeeping Preferred Qualifications Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or office administration experience is preferred.

Experience using accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar business systems is beneficial. Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial recordkeeping, or reconciliation procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, dependability, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are well positioned for success as a Accounting Specialist.
