Preschool Teacher

This full-time position will implement daily classroom instruction as defined in curriculum with the ability to provide additional support materials when needed. Assist the children in performing self help skills as needed such as toileting, diapering, feeding, dressing, etc. Document daily progress regarding each child's programming, behavior, health, etc. into the appropriate system. Ensure a clean safe environment is provided for children including classroom and playground areas removing all broken toys and other items that could cause harm to children.

Communicate effectively with families on a regular basis regarding their child's progress, health, behavioral issues, etc. Report any concerns, questions or recommendations regarding children, program issues, etc. directly to the Preschool Director. Other duties as assigned. Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or experience in a preschool setting is preferred. A high school diploma, good verbal and written communication skills, sensitivity to cultural/ethical differences and basic computer skills are required.
