Financial​/M&A Analyst

The Financial / M&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting Bravere's financial performance and growth across the dental industry. This is a hybrid role that will focus on financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and practice-level performance, and M&A activities

The Analyst will work closely with their direct supervisor to analyze the financial performance of existing dental practices and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities. The role provides exposure to both the financial operations of the business and the M&A lifecycle, from initial analysis and underwriting through acquisition and post-close performance.

They should be able to work with large amounts of financial and operational data, possess strong Excel and financial modeling skills, and bring both analytical rigor and thoughtful judgement to their work.

• Analyze financial performance across individual dental practices and the broader organization.
• Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Analyze revenue, production, collections, expenses, EBITDA, cash flow, and operating margins.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, prior periods, and acquisition underwriting.
• Identify trends and financial opportunities or risks within individual practices.
• Analyze key operational metrics and their impact on financial performance.
• Assist leadership in understanding the financial drivers of practice performance.
• Partner with operations and other cross‑functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of staffing, provider compensation, production, collections, and other operational initiatives.

Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and other reporting tools that provide visibility into key financial and operational areas.

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop and maintain financial forecasts for individual practices and the organization.
• Update forecasts based on actual performance and changes in operating assumptions.
• Assist with long‑term financial planning and strategic modeling.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance and profitability.
• Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the financial impact of changes in key business and operating assumptions.
