Answer phones in courteous and appropriate manner;
Maintain competency in electronic medical records including insurance verification, appointment scheduling, registration, collection of copays and end of day process;
Schedule outpatient procedures for physicians according to protocol;
Ask screening questions, verify demographic/insurance information, and appropriately schedule in EPIC program;
Monitor physician schedules in electronic medical record, monitor for appropriate scheduling, etc.
