Location

Benton, Arkansas

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, process, and store hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Operate forklift, Bobcat, palletizer, hydraulic bailer, and other equipment to move waste safely and efficiently.
  • Attach appropriate labels, tags, and bags to products, packages, and containers.
  • Utilize a barcode system to document inventory activities and review laboratory data for proper handling.
  • Perform basic spill cleanup, housekeeping, and chemical compatibility checks.
  • Direct liquid waste through pumping systems to tanks for storage and maintain safe storage and shipping practices.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized operating areas, walls, pipes, and floors.
  • Use PPE (boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection, respirator) consistently.
  • Follow EPA, DOT, OSHA, and permit regulations, and apply knowledge of labeling, heritage coding, and container management.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • 24‑hour or 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
  • 1+ year of related experience in material handling or hazardous waste operations (required).
Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and general industry practices.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs in an outdoor environment during 12‑hour shifts.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
