LocationBenton, Arkansas
Responsibilities- Load, unload, process, and store hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials in compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Operate forklift, Bobcat, palletizer, hydraulic bailer, and other equipment to move waste safely and efficiently.
- Attach appropriate labels, tags, and bags to products, packages, and containers.
- Utilize a barcode system to document inventory activities and review laboratory data for proper handling.
- Perform basic spill cleanup, housekeeping, and chemical compatibility checks.
- Direct liquid waste through pumping systems to tanks for storage and maintain safe storage and shipping practices.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized operating areas, walls, pipes, and floors.
- Use PPE (boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection, respirator) consistently.
- Follow EPA, DOT, OSHA, and permit regulations, and apply knowledge of labeling, heritage coding, and container management.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 24‑hour or 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred).
- 1+ year of related experience in material handling or hazardous waste operations (required).
- Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations and general industry practices.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs in an outdoor environment during 12‑hour shifts.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
