Job Duties
- Understand and act on verbal and/or written instructions
- Read/interpret standard and metric measurements
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Knowledge of handheld measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, etc.
- Assess product quality deficiencies to determine disposition; reporting to appropriate person
- Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening skills
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- A minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience
- Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
- Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
- Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Production Operator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do
- As a Production Operator you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions.
- You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
- Operate multiple, complex production equipment and/or a variety of production tools to manufacture parts in compliance with work order instructions.
- Make necessary machine adjustments and promptly contact the appropriate personnel when needed.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications, taking appropriate action for parts that do not meet standards and recommending solutions.
- Utilize computer software to transfer parts to the next process.
- Load, unload, and stack products; transport products using hand-trucks, forklifts, cranes, or hoists.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including machines, tools, and equipment.
- Provide training to incoming operators on processes and procedures.
- Wear required personal protective equipment at all times in mandatory areas.
