Rivendell Behavioral Health Services is an 80‑bed full‑service behavioral healthcare acute care facility located in Benton, AR, that has been providing quality health care to the residents of Arkansas since 1985. Rivendell Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas is seeking an Admissions and Referral Registered Nurse (RN). This position is essential to our success and requires handling a variety of patient populations while communicating effectively with referral sources. The RN renders professional nursing care during the assessment and admission process, conducts ongoing patient assessment through observation of physical and behavioral symptomatology, documents all data accurately and timely, participates in the formulation of individual care plans and implements plans according to hospital policy, and communicates pertinent data to other service areas as needed.

Responsibilities delegated to A & R representatives may be performed as regularly required.

The Registered Nurse operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice outlined by the Arkansas Board of Nursing and agency policies, protocols, and standards.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must hold an AR RN license or be license‑eligible.

  • CPR and Handle with Care/Verbal De‑escalation certifications are offered on hire and mandatory.
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and staff; must work as a team with all coworkers and treat all patients with respect.
