As a Manager In Training
, you’ll utilize your professional and personal skills to manage an entire restaurant. You’ll be responsible for motivating and leading Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members to deliver excellence to our customers. Being a Manager at Whataburger is a vital role. You’ll serve as both a restaurant leader and a team member, working diligently to serve our customers and help your team reach their full potential.
Priority

Customer Service - Ensure all customers leave "Highly Satisfied". Perform table touches and show appreciation for their business.

Responsibilities
- Ensure Quality and Brand Standards
- Serve the highest quality product
- Communicate issues with Area Manager
- Monitor and manage labor usage
- Count registers and follow cash control procedures
- Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the restaurant
- Create weekly employee schedules
- Order weekly inventory
- Track weekly metrics such as food waste and speed of service
- Manage overall restaurant operations
MIT work schedules will vary based on unit needs. Holiday requests must be approved by your supervisor prior to scheduling. Deposits must be taken to the bank three times a day. Train new hires and complete onboarding and orientation.
