What You'll DoAs a Senior Analyst for Supply Chain Management - Prepaid Backhaul, you will own national accounts with suppliers that ship freight to Walmart. You will manage data analytics, metrics, and oversee levels of service from a transportation perspective.
LocationThis position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR.
You’ll Make an Impact by- Creating content for business reviews with suppliers at higher levels.
- Building partnerships within accounts to improve relationships with Walmart.
- Managing daily issues between transportation teams and suppliers to meet contract expectations.
- Implementing business processes and improvement strategies by staying up-to-date on supply‑chain and replenishment procedures.
- Researching and analyzing root causes of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return issues.
- Conducting performance reviews of merchandising departments, distribution centers, and suppliers.
- Supporting field‑level direction and providing guidance for execution of operations as a liaison for the field.
- Communicating operational expectations to suppliers and transporters.
- Implementing supply‑chain flow process improvement efforts and contributing to design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between stakeholders.
- You have a background in logistics and transportation.
- You are familiar with EDI standards and integration.
- You have strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- You are motivated and determined to grow.
- You have knowledge of Tableau and/or Power
BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field or 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or a related area.
- 1–3 years of experience in the transportation and retail operations industry.
- 1–3 years of experience with MS Office Suite.
- Microsoft Office, Retail Operations, Transportation experience.
