Project Manager - Commercial Interior Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from contract award through final closeout. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and other interior finish systems
.

This role will manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, documentation, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

• Manage commercial interior construction projects from contract award through completion and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and execution strategies.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents to confirm scope and identify potential issues.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
• Monitor project budgets, labor productivity, material procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall financial performance.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, billing, and project documentation

• Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to minimize cost, schedule, and quality impacts.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to clients, stakeholders, and company leadership.
• Coordinate with estimating and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to project execution.
• Oversee punch-list completion, final documentation, project turnover, and closeout.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, vendors, and internal teams.

• 3+ years of Project Management experience in commercial interior construction

• Hands-on experience managing projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior finishes
  .
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, clients, and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
  , or similar platforms.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
