Description
Structural Engineer I at HFA – multidisciplinary design firm based in Fayetteville, AR. Salary range $90,000 – $130,000. Full‑time entry level, supervised by the EOR or Project Structural Engineer.
Responsibilities- Lead a small client team or small projects, or portions of large projects using structural analysis and design in concrete, steel, wood, cold‑formed steel, and masonry.
- Develop construction documents, AutoCAD and Revit drafting, and specification editing.
- Perform quality‑control reviews, construction administration, and client communication.
- Use structural design software (RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, RAM Concept) to apply design outputs.
- Assist in budget establishment and project budget compliance.
- BS in Civil, Structural, or a related ABET‑accredited program. MS preferred.
- Professional Licensed Engineer (PE) required.
- Strong understanding of national code standards and structural design practices.
- Experience with structural software and drafting tools.
- Independent work capability and ability to collaborate with architects and other engineers.
