We’re seeking an Electrical Designer II who’s ready to take ownership of projects—from developing and drafting construction documents to applying NEC standards and lighting design principles. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers and design leads to deliver high-quality building systems for diverse projects.

- Work with Electrical Engineer and/or Electrical Design lead to communicate with client, deliver completed construction documents, and assist in construction administration as required for most project types.
- Independently develop, implement, and draft construction documents for most projects and/or project types, solving medium to difficult design challenges that arise on a project or simple projects.
- Apply NEC and other national standards to simple projects with minimal oversight.
- Understand energy codes and apply to power and lighting design with oversight.
- Perform photometric calculations and lighting design, fault current calculations, and select lighting systems and controls for simple projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit; able to train new employees on company standards and drafting techniques.
- Collaborate with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on client requirements, performing project management functions and quality control.
- Provide high level of quality control on all projects for final review by the Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Lead.
- Handle client contact and work within established budgets, responsible for financial success of projects.
- Perform fault current calculations, provide 1-Line diagrams, and edit specifications for small to medium size projects.
