Associate Test Engineer

Staffmark is looking for a detail-oriented Associate Test Engineer to support laboratory operations, perform tests, and maintain lab equipment. In this role, you will assist the engineering team, prepare and process samples, perform screenings, and accurately record test results.

Pay: $20.17/hour

Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Break down samples, such as disassembling electronic devices into homogeneous materials for testing.
• Prepare test samples, including scraping coatings or cutting materials into smaller pieces.
• Perform XRF screening and other laboratory tests as required.
• Assist with ad-hoc lab tasks and support engineering team duties.
• Accurately record test results and document procedures used.
• Read and understand schematics, manufacturing instructions, and testing protocols.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and a clean, safe work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across the organization.

• College coursework in science or engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of proper laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
