Utility Coordination and Design Business Class Director
HDR invites applications for the Utility Coordination and Design Business Class Director to lead the technical delivery and quality assurance for utility требуют coordination services across a spectrum of transportation projects.

Responsibilities- Lead monthly coordination calls with business class leadership and section managers, addressing key items and aligning resources.
- Support ongoing development of the Utility Coordination and Design Business Class.
- Identify upcoming projects and pursuits needing support from national business class leadership.
- Evaluate upcoming workload and staff availability.
- Review utilization reports to identify staffing needs (hiring/workshare) and support utilization goals with regional leadership.
- Participate in Project Approach and Resource (PARR) reviews and evaluations.
- Perform project reviews or audits to validate quality practices, addressing technical and performance issues and developing remedial action.
- Act as focal point for the Transportation Business Group to deliver related services in collaboration with other business classes and market sectors.
- Anticipate technical leadership needs within the business class; support hiring, staff interaction, communication, technical development and project assignments.
- Participate ös marketing activities, developing proposals, staffing assignments, identifying sub‑consultants, and supporting all phases of project development.
- Travel nationally (~15% of time, with monthly variations up to 25%) to support selective project pursuits and delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in a professional, architecture, engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Professional or engineering registration and related technical experience.
- Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
- Strong cooperation with other business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
- Commitment to quality, improvement, and HDR values. Active participant in an employee‑owned culture.
Location:
United States – Texas – Round Rock (primary), with Truth 15% travel, ranging between 15% and 25% monthly.
US: $163,422‑$337,222;
