The role includes scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre‑certification, and financial clearance, including pre‑visit collection.

• Collect accurate patient data and populate it into the patient record.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, clinical and non‑clinical staff, and insurance companies.
• Use various computer systems and maintain credentials to process insurance and billing information.
• Work under stress, meet deadlines, and perform daily assignments with high accuracy.
• Perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing, walking, and maneuvering.

• Experience: 1–3 years clerical and customer service experience preferred; medical terminology and insurance plan experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma required; some college helpful.
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and written communication.
• Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines and maintain high accuracy.
• Knowledge of computer systems and ability to use a 10‑key calculator and keyboard.
• Physical fitness: push, pull, lift up to 50 lb; prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, squatting.
