Overview
At The Compton, the arrival experience is more than just parking a car—it’s the start of a guest’s story. As a Valet & Bell Attendant, you’ll be one of the first to welcome guests, creating a smooth, safe, and memorable arrival and departure. From greeting and assisting with luggage to safely parking vehicles, you’ll set the tone for each stay with a smile, thoughtful service, and genuine hospitality.
Responsibilities- Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism, making them feel at home right away.
- Safely drive, park, and retrieve guest vehicles, keeping track of tickets and locations.
- Assist with luggage, delivering bags to guest rooms, and handling storage for early arrivals or late departures.
- Provide directions and information about Bentonville and our hotel services.
- Keep the valet stand, driveway, and lobby areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Monitor lobby atmosphere, adjusting details like lighting and music to create a comfortable environment.
- Step in as a lobby ambassador—chatting with guests, helping with requests, and ensuring all touchpoints of the guest journey feel seamless.
- Follow safety, key control, and privacy procedures with care and integrity.
- Support the front office team with additional duties, daily checklists, and incident reports when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience, ideally in hospitality.
- A confident driver with the ability to maneuver vehicles safely in different conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
- Physically able to lift 60–80 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, run short distances, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
