Senior .NET Developer – Lead

Location:

100% Onsite – Bentonville, AR

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer – Lead with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, event-driven architecture, and design patterns. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based .NET applications for Walmart’s IT initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on coding skills, and a passion for building enterprise-grade solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure applications using .NET Core and Microsoft Azure.
• Apply proven design patterns to create reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Build and manage event-driven distributed systems using Apache Kafka or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs for distributed environments.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of deployed applications.
• Oversee Dev Ops pipelines, CI/CD processes, and containerized deployments.
• Mentor junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding best practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to architecture discussions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in .NET development.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Web API.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure services (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB).
• Expertise in event-driven systems and messaging platforms (Kafka preferred).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services.
• Proficient in applying design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer, Strategy).
• Familiar with Dev Ops tools (Azure Dev Ops, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
