$80,000.00/yr - $/yr

Position Summary

Sam’s Club is building a Marketing Intelligence function from the ground up—and we need a leader who can turn marketing activity into measurable business impact. As Manager, Operations Analytics and Marketing Intelligence, you’ll help tell a consistent story of how marketing drives outcomes. You’ll partner with world-class data teams to design analytics solutions that connect campaigns to business objectives, optimize performance marketing, and leverage AI to unlock new insights.

This is a rare opportunity to shape a new capability and influence how data powers marketing strategy at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Build the Marketing Intelligence Framework:
    Define how marketing activities ladder up to business objectives. Develop models and dashboards that measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Lead Performance Marketing Analytics:
    Drive insights for paid media channels, media mix modeling, and campaign optimization. Ensure marketing investments deliver maximum impact.
  • Partner with Data and AI Teams:
    Collaborate with analytics and data engineering partners to design scalable solutions. Champion AI-driven approaches to improve speed, accuracy, and predictive capabilities.
  • Create Executive-Level Storytelling:
    Translate complex data into clear narratives for senior leadership. Use visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Python libraries to influence decisions.
  • Establish Data Governance and Quality Standards:
    Implement processes that ensure data accuracy, compliance, and usability across marketing analytics.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to connect marketing activities to business outcomes through analytics.
  • Expertise in performance marketing analytics, including media mix modeling and campaign optimization.
  • Hands‑on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (Python/R).
  • Strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and master data principles.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and a passion for leveraging emerging technologies.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate insights clearly.
  • Leadership skills to manage projects and mentor team members, driving accountability and results.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) based on location.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
