Position Summary
Position Summary… In this position, you will help define what's possible—leading engineering-focused initiatives, mentoring technical talent, and ensuring our innovations scale effectively to meet business needs. Your work will directly influence how H&W uses AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies to improve outcomes, reduce friction, and transform the future of care delivery s role reports directly to the Director of Innovations – AI Enablement and will be based onsite at our Bentonville, AR campus.

The H&W Innovations team will accelerate the future of health & wellness by identifying high-impact opportunities and turning them into scalable, intelligent solutions. We collaborate across key business functions and leadership teams to assess current processes, test new concepts, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and growth across Health & Wellness.
You will play a critical part in shaping our technical strategy, driving innovation efforts, and ensuring that new AI-driven capabilities deliver value for associates, patients, and the H&W organization.
What you'll do- Identify needs and opportunities to translate operational needs into actionable AI use cases
- Build cross-functional partnerships across technology, product and operations partners
- Manage the development, execution, training and adoption of medium to large-scale innovation designs and solutions
- Establish frameworks and implement training to ensure safe and ethical deployment of AI solutions
- Track performance and translate data into insights for business leaders
- Champion a culture of innovation across Health & Wellness
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; master's (MBA/MS) preferred
- 5+ years in software engineering, cloud engineering, technical product development, or technical program management including contribution to strategic or enterprise-level initiatives
- Experience designing and scaling technical solutions, leading proof-of-concept/pilots, translate business needs into technical requirements
- Confidence navigating a fast-paced, ambiguous innovation focused environment
- Experience with GCP, Azure, SQL/Big Query, Databricks, APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Git, Agile/Scrum workflows, and improving systems or processes through modern digital tools preferred
- Experience working in healthcare or clinical settings including exposure to HIPAA-regulated data preferred

CompensationAnnual salary range: $110,000 - $220,000. Additional compensation includes performance bonuses and stock options.
