As an entry-level onsite Proofreader, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our client’s packaging. You’ll be responsible for:

• Providing daily support to the client’s private brands packaging team.
• Comparing label artwork against our internal database for accuracy.
• Ensuring compliance with brand and company standards.
• Verifying spelling and grammar, and editing for clarity.
• Making formatting changes for improved flow.
• Communicating with team members and the client to ensure consistency.
• Updating reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
• Flexibly prioritizing tasks to meet product timelines.
• Overseeing quality control alongside the Private Brands Team.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A 4-year college degree in English or Journalism (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive knowledge of AP Style.
• Excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• The capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
