What you'll do...

People Development Ensures associates are receiving learning and development opportunities eg training mentoring for the good of the associate and Walmart Coaches team members and provide feedback to enhance skills knowledge and work performance Mentors less experienced associates managers and directors Planning Reviews alignment of roadmaps and all project program plans across highly complex categorybusiness areas to ensure meeting overallunitfunction business objectives Communicates overall categorybusiness area and unitfunction objectives and ensures all project teams understand how the projectsprograms support these objectives Works with cross category andor cross functional leadership to confirm andoperationalize project program management best practicestools across categories and business units Oversees the development of overall processand procedures across highly complex categories and business areas to ensure strategic alignment Executing Project Program Processes Oversees the implementation of project program plans and timelines ensuring alignment of initiatives acrosscategory and business areas and with strategic objectives Oversees coordinated implementation of roadmaps and all project program plans across ahighly complex category or multiple business areas Establishes quality control requirements and process and assesses performance of the categoryor business areas to ensure business objectives are met Serves as the highest point of escalation for conflict resolutions and scope creep concerns

Manages highly complex cross functional stakeholder needs and serves as a reference points for less complex needs Dependency and Risk Management Approves and ensures integration of changes in project scope identification of potential issues and development of contingency plans for projectsprograms across categories or business areas with moderate complexities Identifies key risks and dependenciesand leads the requisite teams to put solutions in place to achieve project program outcomes for the overall category or business areas Anticipatesrisks and approves risk mitigation strategies Raises awareness of dependencies and associated risks with Managers and Specialists based on cross functional and industry knowledge Change Management Champions best practice change approach and strategy and leads the development of change plan for all projectsprogramswithin category or multiple business areas Provides expertise and guidance to project teams and communicates with stakeholders to ensure projectexpectations and objectives are met and sustainability is realized Challenges the status quo by developing championing and implementing newinnovative and unconventional ways of working to support the business Collaboration Engages and communicates with senior executives across multiple domains and geographies as well as across product management and engineering strategy supply chain retail merchandising marketing customer and store operations analytics and external stakeholders toensure successful implementation of projectsprograms for highly complex category or multiple business areas Collaborates with external stakeholders business units and cross functional geographically dispersed leadership to ensure successful implementation for projectsprograms Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs developing communicating building support for and implementingbusiness strategies plans and practices analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans determining and supportingresource requirements evaluating operational processes measuring outcomes to ensure desired results identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities promoting a customer environment and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps recruitingselecting and developing talent supporting mentorship workforce development and succession planning and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices developing consequences for violations or noncompliance and supporting the Open Door Policy Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leadingkey community outreach and involvement initiatives engaging key stakeholders in the development execution and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives and supporting associate efforts in these areas Respect the Individual:
