About the team:
The Packaging Product Development team is a focused group within Walmart’s Quality organization, specializing in packaging engineering and innovation. They design and enhance packaging solutions that improve automation readiness, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency across the supply chain. Collaborating with suppliers, merchants, and cross-functional teams, they address complex packaging challenges to optimize product flow and support long-term automation strategies. This team plays a vital role in advancing packaging processes that contribute to a faster, safer, and more reliable supply chain experience, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout Walmart’s distribution network.

• Leadcontinuousimprovementinitiativesandpackaginginnovationtoenhanceprocessefficiencyandreducecosts.
• Managepackagingdefectreductioneffortsbyevaluatingresources,quality control,equipment specifications,andcostmanagement.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteamstodevelopandmaintainconsistentpackagingcontentforsuppliers.
• Resolvepackagingcontentissuesbycoordinatingsolutionsandestablishingbestpracticesandstandards.
• Driveexecutionofbusinessstrategybyidentifyingneeds,removing obstacles,andmeasuringperformance.
• Provide leadership,coaching,anddevelopmentopportunitiestobuildahigh-performingpackagingteam.
• Ensurecompliancewithcompanypolicies,industry standards,and Walmart’spackagingrequirements.

• Extensiveexperienceinpackagingengineeringwithastrongfocusoninnovationandcontinuousimprovement.
• Provenabilitytomanagepackagingproduction,includingresourceallocation,quality control,andcostmanagement.
