You are the primary interpreter of the consumer voice. From survey design to ethnographic observation, you’ll create and manage research that reveals not only what consumers do, but why they do it.

Your expertise spans quant and qual, with hands‑on experience in survey programming, focus groups, in‑home tests, and advanced methodologies. You’ll be the authority on consumer motivations, preferences, and purchase triggers.

Every recommendation we make is stronger when it’s grounded in the consumer perspective. Your research ensures that we don’t just see market movement — we understand the human drivers behind it.

• Design and execute surveys, focus groups, IHUTs, and ethnographic studies.
• Manage recruitment, screening, and fieldwork processes.
• Program and analyze surveys in Qualtrics and Forsta.
• Integrate findings into larger market and trend narratives.
• Partner with analysts and editorial to ensure consumer voice is central in all outputs.

• 5–7+ years in consumer research roles.
• Advanced proficiency in survey tools like Qualtrics and Forsta (required).
• Ability to interpret data for both strategic and creative applications.
• Strong project management skills to run multiple studies simultaneously.
• Creative research thinking / ability to study hard‑to‑find audiences and concepts.
• Pet industry experience a plus.
