Reports to: Operations/Service Manager or Vice President

Salary Grade Level: Market value/Exempt level, outside sales
The position offers a base salary of $52,000.00 or higher, depending on experience and additional responsibilities. An additional bonus structure is available.
Position Function: Coordinate the selling of equipment offered by Ka-Comm., Inc., including two-way radios, dispatch consoles, public safety emergency lighting, consoles, and sirens.
Experience with law enforcement communication equipment or a technical background is highly beneficial.
Primary Duties:
Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Equipment and services provided by Ka-Comm., Inc.
- Applicable codes and safety regulations
- Reading and writing communication skills
- Public safety equipment (preferred)
Ability to:
- Operate a laptop using Quick Books for sales orders and quotes
- Read plans and interpret customer specifications
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Meet schedules and deadlines
- Maintain administrative records
- Follow company rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Working Conditions:
Environment: Indoor and outdoor settings. Work around machinery with moving parts. Drive a company vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work up to 10 hours per day, including driving; lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; communicate effectively with customers and co-workers; sit or stand for extended periods.
