You’llgainhands-onexperienceconnectingdigitalfraudsignalswithreal-worldinvestigativefindingswhilehelpingidentifygeographic,behavioral,andemergingfraudtrends.

You’llalsosupportresearch,reporting,andcross-functionaleffortsthathelpstrengtheninvestigativepractices,fraud detection,andpolicy.

Thisinternshipprovidesdirectexposuretocorporateinvestigationswhilebuildinganalytical,research,communication,and problem-solvingskillsinafast-moving environment.

The Trust&Safety–Fraud Preventionteamprotectstheintegrityof Walmart ’sLast Mile Delivery and Spark Driverplatformsbydetectingandaddressingfraud ,accountintegrityissues,andpolicyviolations.

Prevention,investigatingsuspectedfraudandpolicyviolationsatdeliverylocationsandstore-leveltouchpoints.

Theteamconnectsdigitalfraudsignalswithreal-world evidence,documentsinvestigativefindings,andidentifiespatternsthathelpstrengthenfrauddetection,investigativepractices,andpolicy.

Throughanalysis,investigation,and collaboration,theteamhelpsprotectcustomers,drivers,andthebusiness.
What you’ll do:

• Supportinvestigatorsbyorganizingcasefilesanddocumentingevidence,findings,andinvestigationoutcomes.
• Analyzecasedatatoidentifygeographic,temporal,andbehavioralpatternsassociatedwithfraud.
• Conductsupervisedopen-source intelligence(OSINT) researchtosupportinvestigativefindings.
• Prepareconciseinvestigationsummaries,reports,andregionalfraudbriefsforleadershipreview.
• Trackcaseoutcomesandrecurringtrendsacrossinvestigations.
• Partner with Fraud Preventionanalyststotranslatefield -sourcedintelligenceintoactionableinsights.
• Supportdevelopmentofinvestigationbestpractices,case studies,anddocumentationstandards.
• Use Excelandotheranalyticaltoolstoresearchtrends,interpret data,andcommunicatefindings.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong analytical,research,and problem-solvingskillswiththeabilitytoidentifymeaningfulpatternsindata.
• Comfortworkingwithdatausing Microsoft Excelorsimilartools ;
