Drywall Carpenter

People Ready Skilled Trades are currently seeking an experienced drywall professional to join our team for a short-term commercial project. We are hiring for the following temporary position:

The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. • Read blueprints and layout drywall panels accurately
• Cut, fit, and hang drywall on walls and ceilings
• Ensure proper spacing and alignment of drywall sheets
• Apply joint compound to seams and fasteners
• Sand dried compound to create a smooth surface
• Prepare walls for final painting and texturing
• Tape and finish drywall joints and corners
• Apply multiple coats of joint compound as needed
• Ensure a seamless, high-quality finish

• Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial drywall installation
• Knowledge of drywall tools and equipment
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation to job sites
