Technical Representative - Northwest Arkansas

Turn your passion for specialty coffee into a technical, customer-focusedcareer.

At SOVDA, we build precision equipment trusted by some of the world's best roasteries. Color sorters, conveyance systems, filling and blending equipment; the kind of kit that sits at the heart of serious production operations. Our customers include some of the world's leading specialty roasteries, and the standard they hold us to drives everything we do.
We're growing fast, and we need a technical specialist who understands coffee production from the inside out to help our customers get the most from it.
This is a hands-on, travel-ready role for someone fluent in the realities of roasting and comfortable with tools, troubleshooting, and installation. You won't just be representing SOVDA, you'll be a genuine technical partner to our customers, guiding them from first conversation through commissioning, and helping them build production systems that perform as well as the coffee they produce.
You'll work closely with our Aftersales Manager and be a core part of a growing technical team with real scope to develop as SOVDA scales.

Be the expert on site: Lead equipment installations and commissioning at some of the world's leading specialty roasteries, ensuring every SOVDA system is set up right and performing to spec from day one.

Solve problems in the field and remotely: Provide hands-on troubleshooting at customer sites and expert support by phone and video, keeping production moving and customers confident.

Speak the language: Communicate fluently with roasters and production teams, translating technical realities into clear, practical guidance that builds lasting trust.

Keep things organized: Track installations, service updates, and customer activity in Hub Spot so nothing falls through the cracks and the wider team always has the full picture.

Show up for the industry: Represent SOVDA at select trade events and customer visits with the kind of steady, credible presence our customers rely on.

What We're Looking For:

A feel for specialty coffee: Experience in roasting, coffee technology, or production is a big plus. If you understand how a roastery runs and can hold your own in a conversation with a production team, you'll fit right in. Comfort with hand tools and a natural aptitude for troubleshooting and working with technical equipment matters a lot in this role. Formal qualifications aren't required;

practical ability is.

Good organizational habits: Being able to document work clearly, keep notes up to date, and communicate across a team goes a long way in keeping our customers happy and our installs on track.

A natural ability to represent: You build trust quickly, show up professionally, and carry yourself well in front of customers. The technical credibility will come with the role.

The One Firm Requirement: You must be based in Northwest Arkan sas, USA and have full working rights in the United States. Everything else on this page is desirable.
