Job Description:Job Summary:
The Senior Java Developer/Lead Java Developer will design, develop, and support web applications and microservices in cloud environments (Azure, GCP). This role requires expertise in server-side programming, cloud technologies, and modern web development frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in Agile methodologies, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, and related technologies.
- Utilize cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP for deploying and supporting applications.
- Integrate web applications with other systems as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Follow Agile development practices including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
- Identify potential issues in application performance, architecture, or implementation and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation for software design, configuration, and operational procedures.
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability across all software applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years designing, developing, programming, and supporting software applications.
- 8+ years of experience in server-side programming, including Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JS, NodeJS, XML, and MS SQL Server.
- Solid understanding of web application development, cloud technologies (Azure and GCP), and microservices architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean).
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to propose solutions independently.
- Experience integrating web applications with other systems.
- Prior work experience in large retail, healthcare, or pharmacy industries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment best practices.
