Position Summary:

As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Java and full stack development, you will serve as a technical leader, architecting, designing, and delivering robust, scalable, and high‑performance solutions for In‑Club Shared Services platforms. You will drive key initiatives, mentor engineers, and shape the technology vision across teams, ensuring the delivery of world‑class software solutions. The Shared Services team develops standardized, reusable tools and components that integrate across multiple products, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

• Design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud‑based Java services as a hands‑on technical leader
• Lead system design and make strategic architecture decisions across the full technology stack
• Drive AI and GenAI initiatives from concept to production, contributing directly to code and solution delivery
• Develop and maintain both backend services and user‑facing applications using Java, React, and React Native
• Enhance reliability through robust CI/CD, monitoring, and automation
• Mentor engineers and elevate the technical standards across the team
• Collaborate with product and business teams to deliver impactful, end‑to‑end solutions

• 10+ years of hands‑on experience building and designing large‑scale, full‑stack systems
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and cloud platforms
• Proven experience developing both backend and user‑facing applications with React and React Native
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, modern Dev Ops practices, and end‑to‑end deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with messaging systems, SQL/No
  
  SQL data stores, and distributed systems
• A collaborative, hands‑on technical leader with a passion for full‑stack development and solving complex problems

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area
• OR 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility
