Role summary:
Join Walmart as a Staff Software Engineer to lead the development and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and AI/ML frameworks. This role involves driving the full software development lifecycle, applying cloud-native architecture principles, and ensuring technical excellence through design reviews and mentorship. Our team operates across the US and India, developing systems that manage software dependencies across thousands of repositories. We enforce software development lifecycle and security policies in production deployment, automate CI/CD failure diagnosis and remediation using AI and machine learning, and enhance Wibey experiences across CI/CD. • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Contribute to platform engineering initiatives, internal developer tools, CI/CD improvements, and developer productivity.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
