What you'll do:

• OwntheplatformarchitectureforInternationalPOS
  acrossedgeandcloud—definingthenorthstarforreliability,latency,scalability,andoperabilityforalways-oncheckoutandstoreservices.
• Driveplatformmodernization
  :standardize deployment(Kuberneteswhereappropriate),strengthen resiliency,andsimplifyoperationssoteamscanmovefasterwithlessrisk.
• Engineerrealstoreconditions
  :designforintermittentconnectivity,constrained compute,regionalcomplianceneeds,andoperationalrealities—withoutcompromisingcustomer/associate experience.
• Raisethebaracrossteams
  :establishreferencearchitectures,golden paths,andengineeringstandards;mentorseniorengineers;influencetechnicaldecisionsacrossdomainsandmarkets.
• Makereliabilityafeature
  :buildobservability,SLOs,automated remediation,and incident-learningsintotheplatform
