AECO is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to accelerate bookings growth, strengthen market presence, and support the development of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Drive overall bookings growth by managing the commercial business to retain customers, increase share of wallet, and generate new business.
- Coach, mentor, and support the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed bookings targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
- Align marketing initiatives with strategic priorities to maximize lead generation and market impact.
- Maintain and optimize the Infor CRM system to ensure pipeline visibility, accurate forecasting, and accountability.
- Implement and oversee sales tools, metrics, and reporting to track performance and support growth initiatives.
- Ensure disciplined adherence to sales processes and best practices across the team.
- Collaborate with leadership and marketing to refine and communicate the company’s value proposition.
- Identify target markets, ideal customer profiles, and emerging opportunities to guide sales and marketing efforts.
- Provide market and customer insights to inform product positioning and business development strategies.
- Develop and retain high-performing sales talent.
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and leadership to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
- Contribute to sales training, collateral development, and go-to-market campaigns.
- Proven track record of driving bookings growth in a technical B2B manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CRM systems (Infor experience a plus) and sales reporting tools.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on sales execution with strategic planning.
- Background in industrial equipment, fabrication, machining, or related industries.
- Experience leading a small sales team or managing direct reports.
- Demonstrated success in refining or implementing CRM processes and sales tools.
