ResponsibilitiesAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be part of our Aerospace team working as an on‑site employee. Responsible for developing, evaluating and enhancing manufacturing methods, processes and workflow for aerospace operations utilizing knowledge of process development, workflows, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods and quality control standards. You’ll get to:
- Develop standard work for critical shop floor processes and systems
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and run small scale Kaizen events
- Ability to develop relevant data and present it to management and supervisors to facilitate improvement activities
- Identification and training on best practices to ensure safety and quality
- Support operations team in setting goals and measuring key indicators of plant performance for safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Support operations team with optimization of waste elimination, quality improvements, operating system controls, material flow, footprint development, and efficiency improvements
- Facilitate project identification and tracking to measure improvements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, can include Internships.
- Equivalent hands‑on applicable experience will also be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Microsoft Office Suite products, Visio, ERP systems Presentation skills, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping.
