Production Assembler
The Production Assembler will work as part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) team located in Berea, OH, performing a variety of manufacturing tasks focused on assembly, inspection, and quality control.
What You’ll Do- Assemble rigid couplings and band clamps to blueprint specifications.
- Perform etching operations on rigid couplings, bands, and flanges.
- Identify and understand all parts and components of the assemblies and their functionality.
- Print finished product labels and ensure label accuracy.
- Pack finished parts.
- Set up and operate back banders, rollers, and spot welding machines.
- Conduct visual inspections of all components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify parts meet spec.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Clock in and out of jobs using JDE.
- Be willing to work outside your current position and department as needed.
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks and help maintain 5S standards throughout your work location and department.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and PPE requirements.
- Meet production standards and efficiencies focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and cost based on current routings/times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Basic mathematical abilities (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Desire to learn new skills and improve knowledge.
- Orientation toward implementing and responding to change, punctuality, and consistent attendance.
- Understanding and support of company policies and procedures, including safety.
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to meet expectations.
- Basic mechanical ability, including knowledge of machinery and measuring tools.
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort using JDE.
- Manufacturing plant environment.
- Ability to work daily and weekly overtime as required.
- Ability to stand continuously for 8–10 hours daily.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs individually.
- Ability to use machinery such as spot welders, back benders, and rollers.
- Ability to frequently walk, twist, bend, reach, grasp, use fine manipulation, push, and pull.
