As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you’ll be part of our team in our Berea, Ohio plant. You’ll get to:

• Prepare documents such as bills of lading
• Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be met
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
• Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
• Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise: make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups
• Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
• Receive parts to stock that have come from external suppliers
• Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
• Maintain safe and clean working area

• Experience:
  
  6 months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience
• Education/Certification:
  
  High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge:
  Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes;
  Knowledge of 5S principles including the ability to apply them to the work environment;
  Knowledge of procedures for safely lifting and/or moving packages up to 50 pounds in weight
• Detail and data orientation
• Effective process evaluation and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multi‑task in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal customers
• Ability to accurately count and identify parts and verify with paperwork
• Ability to work well in a team setting and under immediate supervision
