We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Machining Technician to manage the setup and operation of rotary transfer systems. We are seeking a detail-oriented Precision Machining Technician to manage the setup and operation of rotary transfer systems. In this role, you will drive production excellence by ensuring high-precision output, optimizing machine performance, and maintaining rigorous quality standards to meet demanding manufacturing schedules.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex machine setups for Hydromat and similar rotary transfer equipment to achieve precise production specifications.
- Proactively monitor operational performance, making real-time adjustments to maintain consistent quality and output.
- Maximize equipment uptime by performing preventative maintenance and advanced mechanical troubleshooting.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by collaborating with the production team to streamline workflows.
- Maintain comprehensive production logs and technical documentation to ensure traceability and process consistency.
- Uphold a culture of safety and excellence by strictly adhering to all quality control and industrial safety protocols.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior operators to elevate team proficiency and machine handling skills.
Qualifications
Required Skills- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in precision machine operation, specifically with rotary transfer or multi-spindle equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to perform complex equipment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering specifications.
- Expertise in precision measurement and inspection techniques to ensure component accuracy.
- Technical certification in machining or related mechanical fields.
- Experience with advanced machine setups for high-volume production runs.
Strong problem-solving abilities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
