**** The Job:
** As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you’ll be part of our team in our Berea, Ohio plant. You’ll get to:
* Prepare documents such as bills of lading
* Correspond with order management as well as factory representatives to rectify problems so that customer needs dates can be met
* Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for transport
* Contact carrier representatives to make transport arrangements
* Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise:
Make necessary verifications against documents, prepare the merchandise, move merchandise to the appropriate area, and handle customer pick-ups
* Assign, tag, and store received inventory to proper location
* Receive parts to stock that have come in from external suppliers
* Ensure products are properly packed and labeled
* Maintain safe and clean working area
** The Person:
*** Experience : 6 months or more of Shipping and Receiving experience

* Education/Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent
* Knowledge:
Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes;
Knowledge of 5S principles including the ability to apply them to the work environment;
Knowledge of procedures for safely lifting and/or moving packages up to 50 pounds in weight
* Detail and data orientation
* Effective process evaluation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multi task in a rapidly changing environment
* Ability to maintain positive working relationships with internal customers
* Ability to accurately count and identify parts and verify with paper work
* Ability to work well in a team setting and under immediate supervision
