Project Manager CAPEX

Overview
At the Bergen op Zoom location, the site project team supports all departments in project engineering and execution. The team is supported by an engineering alliance partner for detailed engineering, construction supervision, document control, and related tasks. Site project staff work closely with operations, maintenance, and the technical department to deliver high‑quality projects on schedule and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities
As Project Manager you manage and coordinate the execution of site projects through all phases—design, procurement, construction, pre‑commissioning, and closeout. You plan during development phases and control during site project execution, leading project execution by managing safety, quality, cost and schedule. You provide insight in project controls for the portfolio in‑hand, identify and engage stakeholders for optimum project execution, and guide the Project Management Team on best practices and lessons learned.

You participate, lead, and motivate the project team to ensure a flawless start‑up.

Qualifications

Bachelor, master or demonstrable equal degree (Process Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical is preferred). Project leadership/management experience, preferably certified under PMI – Project Management Professional.

Fluent in Dutch and English.

Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in industrial engineering in a highly demanding detail‑driven fast‑track environment.

Problem‑solving attitude, self‑motivation.

Good interpersonal and teambuilding skills.

Able to cope with multiple parallel smaller detail‑driven projects.

Has the ability to influence others without direct power.

Excellent conceptual, communication and analytical skills.
