Consultant Gastroenterology

A vacancy as a consultant specialised in gastroenterology is open in Norway. The hospital is looking for a specialist in internal medicine and gastroenterology. Specialists in internal medicine with extensive experience in gastroenterology are also welcome to apply. In the medical department of the hospital work 4 physicians, 4 assistant doctors and 4 interns. The department has a small internal medicine ward with 17 beds and 4 beds in a modern intensive care unit.

The department has a good and active academic environment with a large outpatient activity. The department has a modern and well-equipped endoscopic unit including capsule endoscopy, and is approved as an educational institution. T are on onsibilities to the position.

Requirements:

Specialist exam in gastroenterology / internal medicine. Experience as a gastroenterologist / internist.

Ability to complete the Norwegian intensive course
