    • 1st Shift - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Time Zone: Eastern (EST)
  • Flexibility

    Required:

    Weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime, and travel between locations as needed
Role Summary

The Phlebotomist / Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the front-facing representative to patients, delivering high-quality blood collection and specimen processing services. This role ensures patient comfort, safety, confidentiality, and accuracy while following established clinical and forensic collection procedures. Successful candidates may work in physician offices, patient service centers, or multiple locations based on business needs. The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors
, strong judgment, and superior customer focus in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing
  • Draw blood specimens safely and accurately, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Verify patient demographics and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct tube labeling
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation
  • Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment
  • Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Travel to multiple Patient Service Center and in-office locations with minimal notice
Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Advanced phlebotomy skills
    , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Sound decision-making and judgment within established procedures
  • Keyboarding and data entry proficiency

Preferred

Skills:

  • Medical assistant or paramedic training
  • Patient Service Center experience
  • Forensic specimen collection experience
Education & Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred
    • Required only in California, Nevada, and Washington
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of phlebotomy experience required
      , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
    • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
    • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
Additional Requirements
  • State of Credentials/Licenses: New Jersey
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations
  • Commitment to company policies, dress code, and health & safety standards
  • Training locations may vary based on trainer availability
