Cloud Architect

Compensation: $100/Hour W2

This position plays a critical role in designing solutions for a highly secure proprietary payments platform/system within the Government Solutions business unit.

• Work with development teams to provide estimates on tasks with complete timeline of project delivery.
• Engage with senior management to develop technology strategy and drive implementation of the architecture roadmap.
• Participate in broader areas of application development, infrastructure, security, deployment, unit and integration testing.
• Understand desired business outcomes desired by customer and translate these to requirements for the solution, and recommend potential options.
• Own the overall solution and ensure all components of a solution fit well, function and perform as expected, including availability, performance, and security.
• Effectively articulate the solution to both internal stakeholders and customers.

• Prefer experience with leading the migration from legacy (mainframe) platform to Azure cloud platform.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of development experience.
• Expert in emerging technologies.
• Strong communication skills - with a focus on the ability to articulate complex solutions to internal stakeholders and the customer.
• Possess broad based and in-depth knowledge of complex technologies, tools, methodologies, the enterprise and industry.
• Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies knowledge to support the needs of critical systems and projects.
• Demonstrate strong leadership.
• Expertise with multiple languages and tools.
• Scaled Agile framework.
