Position SummaryThe Associate Director / Director, Global Forecasting will be responsible for commercial forecasts for BioNTech’s key Oncology assets and will play an important role in developing patient-based models, enabling more robust, data-driven insights to better inform strategic decisions across the organization. This person will be part of a best-in-class high-performing team with great visibility to senior management.
Responsibilities- Build and “own” Global commercial forecasts for company’s key pipeline and BD&L assets
- Develop and maintain patient-based models, with appropriate analytic capability support for early assets and launch brands across multiple Oncology indications
- Work closely with the cross-functional team, including Global marketing, Global market access, US forecasting, Clinical Development and Supply chain teams
- Serve as a centre of excellence, providing expert epidemiological data and disease area consultation to cross‑functional teams
- Frame and translate complex patient flows into simplified model approaches
- Perform secondary data analytics to create robust, aligned forecast assumptions
- Recommend market research and secondary data analytics needed to better inform key assumptions and scenario planning
- Create and present business cases to leadership team as needed
- Manage multiple projects in an extremely fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a quantitative discipline; advanced degree preferred in business administration, statistics, or another relevant field
- 8+ years of commercial forecasting, valuation and related experience
- 5+ years of Global Oncology commercial forecasting experience preferred
- Strong forecast modeling (Excel/Excel VBA, data analysis) and PowerPoint skills
- Experience working with oncology across multiple tumor types
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights

Associate Director: $150,000/year to $200,000/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity.
Director: $190,000/year to $250,000/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity. Compensation varies based on responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
