Azure Red Hat Open Shift (ARO) Architect

Job Location:

Berkeley Heights, NJ or Remote

• Be responsible for using their knowledge of ARO, Kubernetes and Azure cloud environments to provide infrastructure support by troubleshooting highly complex Production and non-Production environments in efficient manner.
• The duties include working closely with Architects, Cloud Engineers and customer IT professionals to support mission critical Azure and ARO infrastructure that hosts applications with very high-volume transactions.
• As a Subject Matter Expert, train Client IT professionals, troubleshoot and answer questions in live sessions and chat sessions.
• Create or modify Terraform Scripts. Troubleshoot scripts to solve the infrastructure automation issues.
• Create and maintain or enhance procedures, processes, and designs for a cloud-based system.

• At least 2 years of hands‑on Azure Red Hat Open Shift (ARO) experience in building, deploying and supporting from infrastructure perspective.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on Kubernetes Experience in building, deploying and supporting from infrastructure perspective.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on Azure Cloud Platform Architecture experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a solution architect with public cloud design, implementation, and management.
• Able to function as a Cloud Subject Matter Expert for implementing and overseeing cloud computing strategy.
• Knowledge of both Microsoft and Linux stacks – should be a Subject Matter Expert in one.
• Must have experience working with high transaction volume systems and experience deploying highly scalable systems.
• Must have experience building high availability systems; understand multi‑region cloud deployments, data replication and back‑up strategies, and DR.
• Understanding of Dev Ops in Cloud Environment.
• Ability to communicate with Senior Level executives.

• Experience with creating and troubleshooting Terraform Scripts.
• Experience with KONG, NGINX, Jenkins /Run deck, Postgre
  
  SQL.
