Azure Cloud Architect (Onsite – USC/GC ONLY)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise‑grade Azure cloud solutions. This role requires hands‑on expertise, strong architectural judgment, and the ability to operate in a highly secure and regulated environment. • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud architectures
• Lead Azure infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
• Implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies
• Architect containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
• Apply Zero Trust Architecture and NIST security controls across environments
• Monitor and secure cloud environments using Azure Monitor and Azure Sentinel
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and lead technical design discussions
• Ensure compliance with enterprise and government security standards

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as an Azure Cloud Architect
• Strong expertise in Azure services including:
  • Azure Virtual Machines
  • Azure App Services
  • Azure Functions
  • Entra  (Azure AD)
  • Azure Monitor & Azure Sentinel
• Proven experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Strong knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AKS
• Solid understanding of Azure networking and security concepts
• Deep familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture and NIST frameworks
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
• Comfortable working onsite and collaborating closely with teams

• Azure certifications (AZ‑300, AZ‑301, AZ‑303 or equivalent)
• Microsoft security certifications
• Master’s degree in a technology‑related field
• Experience with other public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with FISMA HIGH and FedRAMP HIGH environments

• High‑impact, architecture‑level responsibility
• Enterprise‑scale Azure environment
