Job Overview
6-month+ contract role for Visa independent consultants in mainframe application development.
Location:
Toms River, NJ.
- Recent working experience in Assembler.
- Knowledge in Assembler, CICS, COBOL, DB2, MQ and mainframe infrastructure required, emerging technologies plus.
- Experience in Integrated Test Environment a huge plus, expert in multiple languages and tools.
- Credit/Debit or Financial domain knowledge.
- Detail-oriented, multitasker, quick learner.
- Ability to support production and be available for on‑call support.
- Mentor less experienced team members, answer questions, teach improved processes.
- Expert in multiple languages and tools, some emerging technologies.
- Strong knowledge of application development technologies, tools and methodologies.
- Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry.
- Strong understanding of complex internal business processes or functions.
- Works on moderate to complex projects and issues in functional area.
- Works independently with IT functional units and business units, recommends strategies for improving system applications.
- Coaches and leads less experienced IT staff and business managers.
