As an SDET/Test Automation Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. Your expertise will be critical in upholding our high standards and delivering reliable solutions to our clients. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to identify issues, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our QA processes.

This role offers an opportunity to leverage your skills to make a significant impact on our product offerings and the overall user experience.

You will join a team responsible for building the core merchant onboarding capabilities that power our acquiring platform. We design and develop solutions that manage merchant setup, underwriting, risk evaluation, workflow orchestration, onboarding automation, and integration with payment processing, settlement, and servicing systems.

Engineers on our team work on high-impact initiatives involving distributed systems, API-driven architectures, cloud technologies, workflow automation, and data integration solutions that directly influence the speed, efficiency, and quality of merchant onboarding across the organization.

What you will do:

Execute detailed quality assurance testing for software products.

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.

Apply best practices in quality assurance to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing scripts.

Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience you will need to have:4+ years of experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using Java, Selenium Web Driver, and Karate, enabling efficient UI and API testing across multiple platforms.
3+ years of experience in designing and executing performance testing strategies using tools like JMeter, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing application responsiveness and scalability.
2+ years of experience in integrated AI-driven test optimization techniques to enhance test coverage and reduce execution time, contributing to faster release cycles.
2+ years of experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab, with automated test execution and deployment workflows leveraging AWS Lambda and containerized environments (Docker).2+ years of experience in leading cross-functional QA efforts in Agile teams, utilizing Playwright for modern web automation as required and driving continuous improvement through collaborative sprint planning and retrospectives.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.

Experience that would be great to have:

Experience with automated testing tools.

Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.

Familiarity with security testing practices with tools like Fortify.

AWS Associate Certification.

ISTQB/AI Testing Certification.

Important information about this role:

This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
