ResponsibilitiesCandidates should have a strong litigation background, including proposing litigation strategy; communicating with clients and opposing counsel; drafting reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions; taking and defending depositions; arguing motions; and participating in mediations and trials.
Excellent research, writing and communication skills are required, as well as substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the NJ Courts. The ideal candidates will have 3-6 years of relevant experience in the following areas: premises liability, motor vehicle negligence including UM and UIM claims, negligent security, professional liability and wrongful death claims.
Qualifications• 3-6 years of insurance defense litigation experience in related areas
• Admission and good standing in New Jersey; additional admissions in other states a plus
• Excellent research, writing and communication skills; familiarity with NJ Court rules and procedures
Benefits and CompensationCompetitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus and benefits package. 1920-hour requirement. Attorney compensation ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience, practice group, location and other factors permitted by law.
